What a superb location! Just a short distance from the Pitti Palace and Boboli Gardens, it made exploring Florence incredibly easy. The terrace room with its original 14th-century frescoes amazed me, creating such a unique ambiance. The hosts, Jacopo, Niccolo, and Martina, provided excellent recommendations for local restaurants and made my stay comfortable. I really appreciated the USB outlets in the room—so handy for charging devices. Breakfast each morning included a great selection, and I especially enjoyed the homemade vegetable pies. One downside was the lack of cell phone reception in my room, which was inconvenient when I needed to make calls. Wi-Fi worked fine, though, and the common area had better reception. Overall, it was a memorable stay with minor room for improvement.

The homemade vegetable pies for breakfast were delightful.
During our stay, we faced unexpected issues with service. Our request to store luggage was met with refusal, which led us to pay an extra 10 Euros at a nearby service. The lack of an apology from the owner after this incident left us feeling unwelcome and frustrated.

The beautiful historical decor, highlighted by stunning frescoes, created a memorable ambiance in the room. Breakfast featured a delightful selection of local dishes, including homemade pastries that were simply irresistible. However, the street noise occasionally disrupted the calmness, and some staff interactions felt less attentive than hoped. Accessibility to nearby attractions was excellent, but we did encounter limited Wi-Fi in some common areas.
